Tapestry Development is proud to provide new places of connectivity for our Del Cerro neighbors through this exciting Complete Communities project.
Cerro House will be home to a café and restaurant for all our neighbors to enjoy, while fostering new sustainable living opportunities for San Diegans.
From the nurse at Alvarado and the lab technician at SDSU who want to live near work and transit, to the young parents eager to send their children to Hearst, Cerro House will be a place for San Diegans to put down roots and grow our community.
Cerro House is the first Complete Communities project to become Circulate Mobility Certified. Read the full announcement here.
“I am pleased to share that Cerro House has earned Circulate’s Mobility Certification. Tapestry Development’s President, Jeff Katz, is a long time San Carlos / Del Cerro resident and business owner who has lived and worked in the community for 30 years. A longtime coach at San Carlos Little League and father to four Patrick Henry High School graduates, Jeff has watched generations of our community’s children grow up and be forced to move away from home and family due to the scarcity of housing throughout our region. By bringing forward the Cerro House project, Jeff is excited to open the doors of our community to the next generation of Del Cerro residents to start the next chapter of their lives in the neighborhood we have always called home.
